On Tuesday night, one man lost his life and two others sustained injuries after a head-on collision in Industry.
As per the initial information, the incident involving a car and an SUV took place on Currier Road and Lemon Avenue at 7:39 p.m. The preliminary reports showed that a speeding car traveling east on Currier lost control, veered into the westbound lanes and crashed into the SUV.
The man driving the car had a broken femur as well as lacerations to his arms and hands while his passenger was killed following the collision. On the other hand, the SUV’s driver complained of pain in his chest and legs. The coroner’s office will publicly reveal the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
