1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Crash In Kansas City (Kansas City, MO)

A tragic incident unfolded in Kansas City over the weekend, resulting in the death of a man who was struck by a car as he exited his parked vehicle. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday when the man parked his Buick on Prospect Avenue near East 41st Street.

Upon leaving his car, he was struck by a black Chevrolet, which also collided with his Buick. Kansas City police reported that the driver of the Chevrolet then attempted to flee the scene but ended up hitting a stationary Nissan on Prospect Avenue.

The man struck outside his Buick was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after. The driver of the Chevrolet sustained non-serious injuries, while the occupant of the Nissan declined treatment for minor injuries.
