1 Person Killed In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Salinas (Salinas, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle rollover crash in Salinas that killed one person and left two others injured on Saturday.

At around 4:54 a.m., a Toyota Camry driven by a man southbound on Highway 101, north of West Laurel, for no specific reason, toppled down and crashed into the Laurel Drive exit sign. The driver of the vehicle was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene whereas the other two occupants were injured.

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
