  • 91-Year-Old Chester Smith, 80-Year-Old Connie Smith Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Temple (Temple, TX)

The Temple Police Department has identified the victims of a fatal crash that occurred last week as 91-year-old Chester Smith and 80-year-old Connie Smith.

The multi-vehicle accident took place on September 28th at the intersection of SH 317 and Little Mexico Road. The officials confirmed that the collision involved two vehicles.

One vehicle carried three individuals, while the other had one occupant. Two additional individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital by EMS.

Tragically, one victim passed away on September 29th, and the second victim succumbed to injuries on September 30th. There have been no updates regarding the people present in the second vehicle. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
