26-Year-Old Miriam Badillo Arrested In A Pedestrian Accident In Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

The Phoenix Police Department reported a pedestrian accident last week. The accident occurred near 35th Avenue and Grand just after 10 p.m. 

According to the officials, a woman was driving northwest down Grand Avenue when she crashed into a concrete curb. Three pedestrians were present on the curb at the time of the crash and they were all struck by the vehicle. 

One of the pedestrians was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining two were seriously injured but are now in stable condition. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. 

The driver, identified as 26-year-old Miriam Badillo, was arrested on the charge of driving under the influence. The fatal crash is still being investigated.
