1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA)

The Fountain Valley Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Saturday. The accident occurred on Bushard Street near Swift Avenue shortly before midnight.

According to the officials, a silver Infiniti FX35 was headed north on Bushard Street when it crossed over the median into southbound traffic. This brought the vehicle into the path of a black 2015 Nissan Sentra. The two vehicles crashed into each other head-on.

The passenger in the Nissan incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan was taken to a hospital in a critical condition. The driver of the Infiniti was also taken to the hospital but with non-life-threatening injuries. The identities of the victims are not yet known at this time.

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. There are no other details available.
