According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Fullerton on Sunday. The crash happened near the intersection of Magnolia and Flower Avenues at around 9:20 a.m.
According to the investigators, a few unknown vehicles and a 68-year-old were involved in the collision. The officials stated that an unknown pedestrian was walking and was struck by a few unknown vehicles.
A 68-year-old Antonio Mendez Ruiz was identified as the pedestrian who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead.
According to the reports, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
