  • 28-Year-Old Amber Reaves Killed In A Fatal Crash In Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Monday in Castro Valley. Authorities stated that the collision occurred on eastbound I-580 at the connector ramp to northbound Highway 238. 

Officials confirmed that one person died due to an accident. A Honda CRV struck a woman who was walking on the interstate. The woman was identified as 28-year-old Amber Reaves. Reaves was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.

The officials have not reported any details regarding the vehicle involved in the accident. The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. 

The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. There are no other details available at this time.
