66-Year-Old Jerry L Stinson Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Monroe County (Monroe County, GA)

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor vehicle crash in Monroe County on Friday.

The collision involved only one vehicle.

On the east shoulder of Taylor Road, Jerry L. Stinson, 66, of Juliette, was discovered partially ejected from a Chevrolet Avalanche that had overturned. 

At the scene, Stinson was pronounced dead. 

A preliminary investigation indicates that Stinson was driving east on Taylor Road when his car veered off the road.

Then hit some trees, and overturned several times. 

It is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol are a factor involved.

Investigations into the fatal crash are still ongoing.
