The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Fulton County on New year’s evening.

The accident happened past US 29 on Route 166.

The collision involved only one car,  according to the officials.

Georgia state patrol confirmed that 47-year-old Atlanta resident, Latwon Lamar Mickles was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened.

Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.

The crash is being investigated by the police.

Following a fatal collision on Route 166, lanes in Fulton County have been reopened.
