The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Monroe County on Friday.
The accident happened at Morgan Road and Taylor Road.
The collision involved only one vehicle.
Jerry L. Stinson, 66, a driver from Juliette, was discovered dead at the scene.
According to the office, Stinson was thrown from the vehicle.
Authorities claim their investigation reveals that Stinson was operating his vehicle on Taylor Road in the eastbound direction when it swerved away from the road.
The vehicle flipped and struck several trees, according to the office.
Authorities are unsure of what caused the crash and how it happened.
Whether drugs or alcohol were involved in a crash is yet to be found.
Investigations into this fatal crash are ongoing.
