The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported a hit-and-run accident on Sunday.
The accident occurred on Beach Boulevard, just north of the Garden Grove Boulevard intersection.
According to the officials, a man was crossing the road when he was struck by a vehicle.
The man, identified to be in his 30s, was rushed to a nearby hospital. He is reported to have incurred major injuries.
The identity of the victim has not been disclosed.
The authorities have released a description of the car – a silver Toyota, possibly a Tundra, Tacoma, or Sequoia. The Toyota symbol is missing from the front of the car.
The crash is still being investigated.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
There are no other details available at this time.
