Lubbock Police Department received a call at 8.33 PM on Thursday regarding a collision between a truck and an SUV. The multi-vehicle accident took place on University Avenue on the 46th.

Authorities added that 1 person had sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Following this motor vehicle incident, authorities advised motorists to avoid the area whilst they cleared the scene.

They did not reveal and verify the parties involved.
