According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Phoenix.
Authorities confirmed that 3 people died and 4 people were injured due to the accident.
Officials stated that the collision occurred on I-10, near Casa Grande.
A pickup truck carrying seven passengers drove into the median and then overcorrected.
This caused the truck to roll over.
The deceased people were identified as 74-year-old John Henry White and his two grandchildren, a 3-year-old girl and a 9-month-old boy.
The three of them were ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene of the crash.
Four others were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Fatigue is considered one of the factors that might have caused the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation by the AZPS.
