67-Year-Old Paul Gerald Mouton Died In A Bicycle Crash In Lafayette (Lafayette, LA)

Louisiana State Police Troop I is investigating a bicycle crash on Friday night that claimed a life. The crash happened on Louisiana Highway 94. 

The crash claimed the life of 67-year-old Paul Gerald Mouton. 

According to LSP, Gerald Mouton was riding on the highway when he was struck by a 2002 Chevy Malibu. Gerald Mouton did not have a rear reflector and wore a dark cloth during the crash. 

Mouton was thrown from his bicycle and died at the scene. 

The Malibu driver was not impaired. 

No further details regarding the crash are currently available. 

The crash is being investigated.
