Louisiana State Police is investigating a two-vehicle fatal accident that claimed a life. The crash happened on I-10 West at LA 101. 

According to LSP, one death has been confirmed. 

Traffic has been backed up in the area. Drivers are requested to avoid the area. 

Additional information regarding the crash is currently unavailable. An investigation into the crash is under review.

It is unclear what caused the crash and if alcohol was a factor.
