12-Year-Old Bicyclist Injured In A Bicycle Accident In Lakeview (Lakeview, WA)

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office reported a bicycle accident on Friday evening. 

The officials stated that the crash happened on Grant Street Northwest and Ephrata Avenue Northwest. 

The officials confirmed that a 12-year-old bicyclist was injured and taken to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee via helicopter. 

The officials stated that the child was riding their bike and failed to stop at the stop sign on Ephrata Avenue when a Subaru Forester driven by 53-year-old Terri Grendahl was struck by the bicycle. 

The driver of the Subaru was not injured in the crash. 

The officials have not filed any charges. 

The identity of the victim is awaited by the officials. 

No update on the condition of the victim was released.
