The officials reported a multi-vehicle accident in Mesa on Saturday afternoon. 

The officials stated that multiple vehicles collided in the westbound lane of the U.S. 60 near the Val Vista exit at around 2:30 p.m. 

The officials confirmed that three vehicles and a pedestrian were involved in the crash. 

Two people were rushed to the hospital by the first responders. 

The condition of the victims is unknown at the moment. 

The officials are yet to identify the victims. 

The police are investigating the crash to determine whether drugs or alcohol were the factors involved. 

More information will be released after the investigation.
