Authorities responded to a car crash in Cranbrooke, and Nilan drives in Novi on Monday around 3 a.m. The crash claimed a life and injured two others.

According to the police, a car traveling south crossed the median and struck a tree. Speed and alcohol are suspected to be a factor in the crash. Authorities reported that three people were inside the car during the crash. 

Authorities reported a 24-year-old Novi man was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other two were injured in the crash. Currently, there is no information available on their condition. 

The crash is being investigated by the Novi police and Oakland County deputies. No further details regarding the crash are currently available.
