According to the officials, a motor vehicle accident was reported in the West Valley near Tampico on Tuesday.
The crash occurred a few miles east of Tampico.
The officials stated that a van went off the roadway and rolled multiple times at 19011 Cottonwood Canyon Road.
The driver of the white van was pronounced dead by the paramedics at the scene.
Deputies have identified the victim as Kenneth Charley Nichols, 75.
The officials reported that the victim was not following the safety protocol at the time of the accident.
The officials have not provided any additional information regarding the cause of the fatal crash.
