17-Year-Old Matthew Lobos Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In South LA (Los Angeles, CA)

According to Los Angeles Police Department, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on Sunday morning killing 17-year-old Matthew Lobos. 

The officials stated that two vehicles intentionally hit the victim and fled the scene. 

The hit-and-run accident happened in the area of Avalon Boulevard and 62nd Street at around 3 a.m. 

Officer Norma Eisenman of the LA Police Department’s Media Relations Division reported that a suspect found an unattended parked vehicle with the engine running outside one of the residences. The suspect got into the unattended vehicle and drove off. Another suspect followed the initial car. 

The victim was intentionally hit by both vehicles, stated the authorities. 

The suspects fled the scene. 

Matthew Lobos was declared dead at the scene by the LA Police. 

The fatal accident is being investigated at the moment.
