According to the Lakeview Police Department, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on M-46 on Monday afternoon.
Lakeview Police Chief Darin Dood stated that a 58-year-old Alma woman driving a Toyota Tundra rear-ended a minivan stopped eastbound on M-46. The woman veered off in the oncoming traffic and struck a TruGreen work truck head-on.
The Officials stated that the woman was not wearing a seatbelt.
According to the police, the woman was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the minivan and the work truck suffered minor injuries.
Police have stated that alcohol and reckless driving is not the factor involved in the crash.
A close relative of the woman stated that she was not under any medication at the time of the incident.
The identity of the victims has not yet been released by the officials.
No additional information is available regarding the fatal crash.
