81-Year-Old Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Bellevue (Bellevue, WA)

According to the Bellevue Police Department, a two-car collision took place near the intersection of 156th Avenue Northeast and Northup Way on Monday morning. 

According to the initial investigation, a King Metro Bus and a car struck head-on. The bus was turning left onto northbound 156th Avenue Northeast at around 8 a.m. when the collision occurred. 

The officials stated that an 81-year-old passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the car was rushed to Overlake Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

According to the police, no sight of impairment or speed was a contributing factor in the fatal crash

The officials also stated that no injuries were reported to the bus driver and the passengers on the bus. 

Bellevue Police Department have not yet disclosed the identity of the deceased. 

The crash is being investigated at the moment by the Police Department.
