2 People Injured, 1 Person Arrested After Motor Vehicle Accident In San Antonio (SA, TX)

The San Antonio Police Department stated that 2 people were hospitalized, and 1 person was arrested after a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday evening.

The Audi SUV, the police reported, was driving in the wrong direction along the 4000 block of Southwest Military Drive, near Quintana Road, when it collided with a Mercedes just after  5 PM. 

The Audi then struck a pickup truck, police said. The driver of the Mercedes, a 24-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital and treated for her injuries. An occupant of the Audi was unresponsive and transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the Audi, a 20-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in severe condition and showed consistent signs of impairment. The individual was charged with intoxication assault in this multi-vehicle incident. SAPD did not identify him in their preliminary report.
