Injuries were reported after a crash Monday morning in San Jose involving an overturned tractor trailer.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision was reported at about 9:23 a.m. on the southbound I-880 connector ramp to southbound Highway 101. Authorities announced a severe traffic alert due to the wreck. About two hours later, the southbound connector remained blocked. The incident led to injuries, but it is unknown how many people in total were injured.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area if possible and expect delays. The connector ramp was reopened at about 12:40 p.m., over three hours after the incident happened. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are available.
An investigation is underway.
