Crews respond to a wreck in Cisco involving a big rig (Cisco, TX)

Traffic was backed up after a wreck Thursday afternoon in Cisco.

As per the initial information, the crash involving an 18-wheeler took place on I-20. The truck seemed to be in a bent, jackknifed, position in the westbound lane of I-20. The accident happened just past the Flying J truck stop in Cisco.

It is unknown if anyone was injured as a result of the collision. According to a witness, the incident led to traffic delays in the eastbound lane of the interstate. Officials asked the motorists to avoid the area. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
