1 person dead after a bicycle crash on 13 Mile Road in Warren (Warren, MI)

On Tuesday morning, one person died after getting hit by a vehicle in Warren.

As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place on 13 Mile Road. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit a bicyclist for undetermined reasons. The bicycle rider died of their injuries after the collision. Reports further revealed that the bike was in the right lane on eastbound 13 Mile Road.

It is unknown if the car that struck the bicyclist fled the scene or is cooperating with the officers. 13 Mile Road between Heritage Parkway and Mound Road was shut down, just east of Ryan as crews worked at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are made available.

The crash remains under review.
