Three people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Phoenix.
As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle pile-up was reported at 8:45 a.m. near Indian School Road and 111th Avenue. Authorities actively responded to the scene and, on arrival, found five cars. According to the officials, three people suffered possible life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident.
All three victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The intersection was shut down for multiple hours to give way to the investigation. The identities of the injured victims have not been revealed at this time. No other information has been provided.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
