A male pedestrian lost his life after getting struck by a vehicle Monday night in Tulare.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place at around 8:30 p.m. on J Street and Tulare Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that a car hit a 62-year-old man before leaving the scene. On arrival, medics rushed the pedestrian to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The reports further revealed that the victim was attempting to walk across the street outside the crosswalk when the incident happened. Authorities have not released a description of the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle. No further details are available.
