On Thursday, two men suffered injuries following a crash in Sedro-Woolley.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at around 1:30 p.m. on Highway 20. The early reports revealed that an eastbound 2010 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 77-year-old man, from Sedro-Woolley, turned left near Helmick Road.
Just then, a westbound 2011 Toyota Tacoma crashed into their vehicle. A passenger in the Equinox, a 66-year-old Sedro-Woolley man, received injuries as a result of the accident. He was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with unspecified injuries.
Paramedics also transported the Toyota Tacoma driver, an 82-year-old Mount Vernon man, to PeaceHealth United General Medical Center in Sedro-Woolley with minimal injuries. The Equinox driver remained unharmed in the crash. No further details were provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
