On Friday, a woman suffered injuries following a rollover crash in Kentwood.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at about 11:50 a.m. on 28th Street and Radcliff Avenue. The early reports showed that two SUVs were possibly involved in the collision.
One of the car flipped onto its side while the other had damage to the front driver’s side due to the crash. According to the responders, one person, a female, was pinned in the overturned car. She was extricated and transported to a hospital with non-fatal injuries.
Officials believe that alcohol did not contribute to the accident. The eastbound lanes of 28th after Breton Road were blocked until approximately 12:35 p.m. as crews worked at the scene. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
