A man lost his life after getting struck by a vehicle near Midtown.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place on Interstate 240. The early reports indicated a man was hit by a car on the interstate at I-240 northbound near Union Avenue. The male died of his injuries at the scene.

It is unknown if the driver involved remained at the scene or not after the accident. The northbound left two lanes were closed down during the investigation. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are made available.
