Woman hospitalized after a car crashes into a parked semi on North Side (Holland Charter Township, MI)

On Thursday afternoon, a 17-year-old woman, from Holland Township, suffered injuries following a traffic collision on North Side.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of Felch Street near West Shore Drive, just east of US-31 shortly before 4 PM in response to a two-vehicle crash. The preliminary investigation indicated that a westbound Sedan rear-ended a semi-trailer that was parked on the right lane to unload equipment. Due to the impact, the Sedan rolled over.

The woman was trapped in her vehicle and had to be freed by the firefighters. On arrival, emergency responders rescued and transported the victim to a hospital with non-fatal injuries. The truck driver was not in his vehicle at the time of the collision, and there were no one other injuries reported. No further details were provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
