On Sunday evening, one person died following a motorcycle accident in North Knoxville.
As per the initial information, officers were dispatched to Bruhin Road at about 6 p.m. in response to a hit-and-run crash. The early reports showed that the car was heading north when it went into the southbound lane and crashed into a motorcycle going south on Bruhin.
Due to the impact, the motorcycle was thrown from their bike and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of the car drove away from the scene but was later found on Pershing Drive. The driver was arrested for further investigation. No other details are available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
