On Thursday, one person was hospitalized after an 18-wheeler flipped over on San Antonio highway.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle wreck took place at about 2 a.m. on the I-10 and I-35 interchange, better known as the “Finesilver Curve.” The early reports showed that the driver of the semi-truck failed to maintain control of the vehicle as a result of which it rolled over.
The big rig was reportedly carrying onions at that time. At approximately 4:30 a.m., officials reported that the cleanup process might take around three hours. The driver was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
