2-year-old boy hospitalized after an auto-pedestrian collision in Seattle (Seattle, WA)

On Tuesday, a 2-year-old boy was hurt after he got struck by a car in Seattle.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place near Yesler Way and 21st Street. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit the child for reasons that are yet to be known.

On arrival, emergency crews transported the pedestrian to Harborview Medical Center with unspecified injuries. At this time, it is unknown if the vehicle that hit the boy stayed at the scene or not after the collision. No other details are made available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
