On Saturday, 62-year-old Kenneth Hutt lost his life following a bicycle accident on Lakewood Avenue.

As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place between Briggsmore Avenue and Orangeburg Avenue. On arrival, emergency responders found Hutt with major injuries. Despite life-saving measures, Hutt died of his injuries at the scene. According to the witnesses, two pickup trucks were traveling away from the scene. Reports further added that the first truck was an older-model red Toyota pickup and the second was a mid-2000s white Chevrolet Silverado.

Both pickups were southbound on Lakewood Avenue at the time of the collision and were seen driving away eastward on Orangeburg Avenue. Officers stated that one or both pickups might have front-end damages including the windshield. Authorities are looking for the drivers of these trucks. No additional information has been provided by the officials.
