On Thursday evening, a 60-year-old man lost his life following a DUI crash in Fresno County.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle accident took place at about 6:30 p.m. near Church and Brawley Avenues. The preliminary investigation showed that a 22-year-old woman driving a Jeep disregarded a stop sign and slammed into a large dump truck.
The force of the collision caused the truck to crash into a tree. The 60-year-old man driving the dump truck succumbed to his injuries after the crash. Officers arrested the driver of the Jeep for driving under the influence. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
