One person was killed and two others received injuries following a multi-vehicle wreck Wednesday in Aromas.
As per the initial information, the fatal four-vehicle pile-up took place at around 4:00 p.m. on Highway 129 and Old Chittenden Road, east of Aromas. Officials confirmed that one person died as a result of the accident while medics rushed two other people to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities closed down the road just west of Old Chittenden Road during the investigation and cleanup. However, the roads were reopened to traffic at around 7:00 p.m. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time. No other information is available.
The wreck remains under review.
