Woman dead, teenage girl hospitalized after an auto-pedestrian accident in Mission Bay (San Diego, CA)

A woman lost her life and a teenage girl was hospitalized after a crash late Monday in Mission Bay.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area of 1900 West Mission Bay Drive located near Sea World Drive at around 10:30 p.m. after getting reports of a pedestrian crash.

The early reports showed that a woman walked into the path of oncoming traffic mid-block when she was nearly hit by one vehicle, which veered and missed her. The pedestrian was then struck by a second vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl. The female pedestrian died as a result of the accident.
