1 person injured after a single-car crash in Smyrna (Smyrna, TN)

On Sunday afternoon, one person suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Smyrna.

As per the initial information, the single-car crash took place at the intersection of Rock Springs Road and Highland Avenue in Smyrna. This is in a construction area next to Colony Springs Apartments. The preliminary investigation showed that a sports car failed to make the turn at the intersection.

The model C-4 red Corvette skidded through a dirt field. Most of the passenger side of the vehicle was damaged. C-Shift of Smyrna Fire-Rescue’s Emergency Service personnel immediately helped the injured driver. Emergency responders stabilized the victim and took him to the ER in unknown condition. No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
