1 person hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident in Lynden (Lynden, WA)

On Sunday, one person was taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle accident in Lynden.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area of the Guide Meridian and Main Street in Lynden at around 9:45am after getting reports of a three-vehicle pile-up. The early reports showed that a Subaru Sedan and a Nissan pickup crashed into each other in the intersection.

According to the officials, there were a total of five victims from 3 vehicles and 1 was taken to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center through a medic unit via advance life support (ALS) protocol. The Subaru was reported to have heavy front-end damage due to the collision. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
