1 person dead after a bicycle crash in Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA)

On Monday, one person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Santa Ana.

As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash happened shortly before 7 p.m. at the intersection of West 1st Street and North Figueroa Street. The early reports showed that a silver van hit a male adult riding a yellow bicycle.

On arrival, emergency crews treated the bicyclist, but the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the van stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Drugs and alcohol were not involved in the collision. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
