Two people dead following a single-vehicle crash near Ravenna (Moorland Township, MI)

Two people lost their lives following a crash Monday near Ravenna.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place sometime overnight on Adams Road in Muskegon County’s Moorland Township. The incident was reported at about 9 a.m. The early reports showed that the driver lost control of his vehicle on the icy road following which it veered off the road and went into a ditch, hitting several trees.

The driver, only identified as a 55-year-old Ravenna man, and his passenger, a 55-year-old Grant woman, succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Both the victims were not buckled up at the time of the collision. The identities of the victims remain undisclosed. No other information is available.

The crash remains under investigation.
