Four people, including 2 children hospitalized after a crash in Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

Four people, including two children were hospitalized after a traffic collision Wednesday afternoon in North Phoenix.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place near Bell Road and 34th Way. The authorities actively responded to the scene just after 2 p.m. Paramedics and firefighters provided medical aid to five people at the scene for various injuries.

Four patients, including three juveniles, were rushed to the hospital. An 8-year-old boy had a head injury and was in “critical condition.” A 19-year-old woman and a 4-year-old boy were also listed in critical condition. A 13-year-old boy who suffered an abdominal injury was in stable condition. No other details are available.

The incident remains under active review.
