1 person hurt after a two-vehicle crash in College Station (College Station, TX)

One person was hurt after a traffic collision Thursday morning in College Station.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at about 6:37 a.m. on Harvey Mitchell Parkway South and George Bush Drive West. The preliminary reports showed that the driver of a SUV heading west on George Bush went through a red light and struck the left side of another vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle hit incurred minor injuries. Police confirmed a citation to the driver of the SUV for disregarding the red light. The identity of the victim has not been released at this time. No other information is available.

An investigation is ongoing.
