1 person dead after a single-vehicle accident in northwest Reno (Reno, NV)

On Saturday afternoon, a 33-year-old man lost his life following a traffic collision in northwest Reno.

As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle crash took place at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Somersett Parkway and Crosswater Drive. The early reports showed that the Reno man was traveling east on Somersett Parkway when he failed to stay in the lane and went into the westbound lanes before crashing into a wall.

Speed and Impairment are not believed to be involved in the accident. The road was shut down for several hours as crews worked at the scene, but has since reopened. No other details are immediately available.

The incident remains under investigation.
