On Tuesday, two people suffered injuries following a head-on collision on Sparks Boulevard.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 10 p.m. near Ion Drive. The preliminary investigation revealed that a red pick-up truck driver was involved in a hit-and-run accident in the area of Pyramid Way and Highland Ranch.
After that, the pick-up truck traveled southbound on northbound lanes of Sparks Boulevard and crashed head-on into another car near Ion Drive. On arrival, medical personnel transported the pickup driver to a hospital with moderate injuries. Another person incurred only minor injuries in the accident. No other details are available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
