Authorities identified 42-year-old Juan Gomez Nuno who died in a rear-end collision (Santa Fe Springs, CA)

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified 42-year-old Juan Gomez Nuno as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle accident in Santa Fe Springs.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash was reported at 7:21 p.m. Sunday at 13538 Excelsior Drive. The investigation reports showed that a car slammed into the back of the big rig and went under the trailer.

Nuno was pinned inside the car and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The victim’s city of residence remains unknown at this time. No other details have been provided by the officials.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
