On Monday morning, at least one person died following a traffic accident in Hickman County.
As per the initial information, the fatal crash took place at about 7:30 a.m. on State Route 50, close to Glenn Hinson Road. It is unknown how many vehicles were involved in the wreck. The roadway was shut down in both directions as crews worked at the scene.
The roads were back open at approximately 12 p.m. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No additional details have been provided by the officials.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
